What year ranger rear end is the same as my 2001

I want to replace my 2001 ranger rear end with one from a 2001 of the same gear ratio

Find a wrecking yard or go online and look up "Hollander Interchange Manual", it will have all the information you need. from my experience I think you will find 1998-2004 will all be the same width and leaf spring locations, but the brake drums width might be different for 2wd vs 4x4.
