stop/start query.

hiya, i have a 2016 Ford Focus and the Stop/Start function has not worked for over a week now.
The temperatures in my area have been very moderate for winter so I don't see that as a cause.
I do not use the A/C at all in the winter, so that's not it either.
I was thinking maybe the Battery needs replacing as it's 3 1/2 years old ?
I checked the Battery voltage in the "hidden menu" results being; engine running 14.1v, engine off 11.5v
Anyone have any suggestions of the possible cause?

I had a 2015 focus zetec last year.The stop start stopped working for about a month then found out from the AA after breaking down, that it was a sign that the battery was knackered ,had to buy new one not cheap !
