2002 Chevy Venture Message Center cycles through door ajar, rear hatch ajar, Low oil, when NONE of these are true. Also brake light on, NOT! Checked fuses and are okay.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

All theses idiot warning lights are coming on when NONE of the issues showing are true. Also headlights (new bulbs) will not come on. ECU? Battery ground issue? Put on diagnostics. Auto parts sales person said "Body sensor"? Never heard of such a thing.

What was the code? And he may be talking about the Body Control Module.

Wasn't myself that went to store. Wasn't given code. I am disabled and others have these things checked. Looks like I'll jave to go myself; at least I took auto mechanics, only not the crappy computer electrical on cars now. Now friend comes back from rechecking and said oxygen sensor FUSE? WTF?! Sorry neber heard of that one either. And don't see how anything to do with an oxygen sensor is going to stop my headlights from coming on.
