To answer your question about a physically disabled person (FROM YOUR VEHICLE PAGE;) you can adapt ALMOST ANY vehicle to facilitate the physically disabled. I worked for a company in Asheville, NC called Mountain Adaptive and that was all we did. We installed complete conversions that opened the doors, lowered a ramp and ride height, actuated the lift and actually locked the chair in place. We also installed complete hand controls to facilitate driving for a person with limited or no use of their legs. We installed wheel chair lifts, motorized chair lifts and carriers. So, if you genuinely need something done to facilitate your mother, you just need to conduct some research in your area. Or, contact Tommy or Brett Fergurson at Mountain Adaptive, either will point you in the right direction.

Oh!..almost forgot. About the original question. This isn't an answer; it's my opinion and is ONLY WHAT I THINK. Remember, opinions are like asses; everyone has one. In general, the Honda Ridgeline is considered a Yuppie vehicle and not a "real" truck. Sure, you can haul stuff in one but most people that need of a TRUCK will pass on the Ridgeline. How many have you seen all beaten up from being used as a genuine work vehicle? To date, I've not seen a single one? They are more at home tricked out with loud stereos, fancy paint and really big rims. Again, that's my opinion and it isn't necessarily what the facts are.
