Advertised prices for cars never include taxes, in fact most places states that "taxes, titles, and fees" are extra. Not every states charges a sales tax on new and used car sales, but most do, so figure on paying a sales tax, title fee, and registration/tags in addition to your negotiated sales price. Your state's title bureau web site will give you the info you need on those costs.
