maintance required light

try unhooking the battery for around 15-30 sec and hook it back this gives the computer or ecu to reset and if no problem exisits the light will go out. another thing to do if it stays on would be to go to an autozone and have them read the ecu for error code it could be something dumb and easy to fix like you need to replace the air filter.
not a big deal usually, but how many miles do you have on your Accord? Mine has little over 50K and maintenance light came on recently, since I have ton of time on my hands lately (laid off) I took it to a local dealer...total bill came out over 500 bucks. But the mechanic told me that maintenance light came on to warn me of 45000 mile maintenance, which is only 200 bucks...but had other issues and a faulty belt tensioner ( covered under warranty). I had to pay for the belt, oil change and a new battery. So bottomline, unless you have some issues with your Accord, undo and redo your battery. Hope this helps.
