I have a 2005 Honda Accord LX 2.4 4 cylinder 180,000 miles. The honda mechanic puts 5-20 oil in the car. I want to start doing the oil myself. What kind of oil should I use? Do I need something high mileage instead of the 5-20? Thanks

Oil and its weight don't matter as much as the contamination of the oil due to foreign matter. Cheap oil and a good filter are ok. If you're concerned about oil weight, that would be determined by a number of factors like season, temperature, age of the car and your driving habits (city vs hwy). Google oil weight to see what oil is best for your car.
