How to know what EEPROM a car has?

I have a Honda Civic 2006. All 100% websites with car EEPROM dumps show
that all 2006-2010 dashes have a 93c76 chip. Nobody has anything different.
Why does my car have 93c56? I bought a used instrument cluster and it had
93c66. What the... How can I know what chip is installed in a certain model
before buying a car?

What are you try to do? you can get 93c56's CMOS serial eeprom's easy? Of course the PCM needs to matched to the cluster...
