Car starts first time after u shut it off will not restart for a couple hours

I recently replaced a bad fuel pump in an 05 honda
civic. Now the car will start but if it is shut off
immediately it will not restart for a couple of hours.
The car is getting spark and fuel. It will start up no
problem if it has not run in a while. And it also dies
when u put the car in drive.

thin lean gas injection going on maybe ! fuel filter may be operating thru a pin hole
