That sounds like a wheel alignment issue. If they can't fix it then take it to a good shop and give the dealer the bill. Does it actually pull or is the steering wheel just installed off a little?
You are under "Toyota Care" for 2 years maintenance, not to mention warranty. If you do not get satisfaction call 1.800.331.4331 which is Toyota Customer Service for North America. I have dealt with them at that call-center and they at are cooperative and will help. But first, if it is practical (I don't know if you live where there is another Toyota dealer within a reasonable distance) take your Corolla to another Dealer, they should be helpful, they get paid for fixing these issues from Toyota Higher-Ups. The steering wheel should be centered while driving straight and not pull whatsoever. FoR is right, it does sound like either an alignment issue or just steering wheel installed off a notch. But NOT acceptable. It should be PERFECT. Now, the 250 miles is not from being driven to dealer. They are delivered on car-carriers with maybe 5 miles on them, just the drive from factory to carrier. In 250 miles it could have hit a curb, have been test driven 20 times, but still you paid for and deserve an absolutely perfect car. Do not settle for less. ~~David
Thanks for the answers . Those 200 miles are a problem. Went back to the dealership today and told them that it could be one of several reasons: whoever drove the 200 miles damaged the car, or the alignment was off, maybe the steering wheel is off, or it could be a manufacturing defect i.e. a lemon. lastly your mechanic doesn't know what he's doing. Since it was already fixed and released to me, I do not want to come back and forth here like a yoyodine. If it's not fixed this time I want a new one, period. They want the car in on tuesday. See what happens.
Thanks, guys. I'll give you a play by play as it unfolds.
