Earlier Rental, Toyota Corolla 2016, 9000 miles. Consider buying?

Asked by Safari_2997 Jan 19, 2017 at 08:32 PM about the 2016 Toyota Corolla LE

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I had a test drive of Corolla 2016 LE. The price is $14500. I don't see any
problem with it, but the car was rental. Should I consider buying it? If yes, is
the price ok?

I checked various online blue book values, they all top out at 14,000 for this car if it is in outstanding condition, although that doesn't consider any options. 9,000 miles is low enough that even if it were a rental car, it should be okay. But I don't think you're getting a special deal here, looks like they're selling it for full blue book value.

I would imagine that the rental agency never did any service on it at all so be sure and catch up on all the recommended service. Like Ken says 9,000 miles is not enough to be concerned about. You might want to get an extended warranty however.
