Cowl Clog remedy? what to do?

Have a Nissan Versa Note.
Water on passenger side floor.
Heard I could cover this temporarily (
windshield ) till I do a permanent fix.
Do they mean cover entire care?
Maybe just cover little plastic black
grill on cowl? Or maybe cover entire
windshield glass with one of those
sun shields?
First and only time it has happened.
Thank you. It is very involved to clear
the plugged holes& I would have to go

Thank you most cordially Ed. (just inquired about temporary remedy) This is a note hatchback . Sort of European type plastic car. Never use A/C. Cannot get under car, as I have arthritis, and my vision is very poor to find drain outlet.So

Do they mean cover entire car while it sits in rain storm? Strong vac did wonders on water. No new water past few days
Take it to a shop and they can put it on a lift then clean out the drain for you with compressed air. Hope that helps! Jim
