Are you the original Owner and what is the mileage on this vehicle. Have you had to replace the Tires on this vehicle and WHY?
Let's do a simple Tire Check. Go out to the vehicle and lightly run the palm of your hand over the surface of the Tread in the same direction that the tire rotates...rear to front... when going forward. Does the tread of the tire feel smooth or choppy? Next...run the palm of your hand lightly...in the opposite direction.....front to back.....does it feel different? Look closely at the tire tread....does it appear to look like the teeth of a saw...high spots and low spots. You might have what we call ..Heel to Toe tire wear. Get back to us with your results. If you Google "tire Wear" and check heel to toe....it might show you a picture.
The 16 Camry SE rides rough by nature. You can lower the air pressure to 28-30 psi for a slight improvement, but tires can wear out sooner. I drove one for a while and I simply could not get used to it. The LE model is supposed to be much better.
we have 2014.5 Camry XLE with Michelin Tires, about 70K miles.............the car has a lot of road or freeway noise when driving around Houston at 65 mph......the sound is so loud can barely talk to passenger..........I think originally we did not pay attention to the road noise but very loud compared to our 2013 VW Passat SEL..........why so loud?? We recently installed a set of Cooper tires on a 2009 Camry. $100.00 ea. Nice and quite Check the old tires. Is there any cupping on the edges of the tires?.
No not yet.would a better suspention system do any better
Suspension?.Maybe...but costly. Suggest you have the suspension systems checked for wear I would be inclined to install a set of Cooper tires.....then have a 4 wheel alignment performed. Make sure the toe in...out...is dead on...and.....the steering wheel is correct when going down a level and straight road.
