I have 2004 Honda Accord. I can not open the door with a key button, but I have to use actually the key portion of a transmitter. After I opened the door, alarm sounded and it died in about 1 minute. What should I do? I replaced a key battery.

I have a 1995 Honda Accord and it's been setting for a year or 2. I replaced the battery and I've never had a problem in the past to start it. But now it won't start it really tries very hard to start, but it won't turn. can ANYONE please help me???? could it be the distributor cap ?????
