I tried to remove my battery but positive terminal was corroded So i had to
break the clamps and remove the battery.I bought a new one and have to
install it ... Store people were saying the problem most probably would be the
corroding ...

Did you replace the battery cable (s)? If the corrosion was that bad the cable likely needs replacing too.
Oh geez, I say more than likely but definitely absolutely need new cables, both of them, and make sure where the ground goes, either engine block or chassis, is clean and tight. Not just new clamp-on terminals but all new cables
So FordNut are you saying that i should purchase even the positive and the negative cables ?
Yes. If I were in your position that is what I would do. Then you are sure. Then use any of several products that prevent corrosion, those disc things that go around post under terminal..I don't know if those work or not, but there are plenty of products that do work
Add on ends are guaranteed to frustrate and cause problems. I would avoid them unless you have no other choice.
