Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello my brakes locked but my ABS light isn't on only
my BRAKE warning light, I took it into goodyear and
they unlocked my brakes but told me I had to take it to
a dealer because it was my ABS.. the brake is stiff and
takes very little pressure to work. Any suggestions

Don’t go to the dealer, a good brake shop or independent shop can diagnose and repair your vehicle. I’ve only seen a few vehicles that have locked the brakes due to an ABS failure usually when the ABS fails it just reverts to normal brakes so you can skid the tires when braking, most of the time it was contaminated brake fluid and a total flush cured it.
