Door lock actuator

Asked by whirlingdervish May 01, 2018 at 11:58 AM about the 2004 Honda Accord LX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I took my car to a mechanic to fix the L driver door actuator.  Turns out it was the cable and he ordered the part and left the door actuator out of the car and he gave my car back to me until the part comes in. Now the other door locks lock and unlock by themselves.  Will this mess up the multiplex control unit in my car?  And should I just remove the door lock fuse until I take the car back in to have the new actuator and cable put in?

Take the car back to the mechanic NOW and show him the problem, he should know what to do.
