Semantics. "Chuck" means toss or throw, so the question is not now much but how far. Experiments authorized by the Obama Administration at at cost of $55 Billion Dollars and carried out in collaboration between MIT and CAL--TECH have determined that a woodchuck can chuck wood up to the the distance between it's nose and tail by a factor of four. Studies continue.
Pretty knowledgeable on that there FordNut...
FordNut.....the Canadian Govt has now incorporated their same studies using the beaver and in comparing the two have found the beaver can chuck it further because their tail is longer. The costs of course, because it's Canada, were not disclosed.
That was for pine. Oak is heavier so for oak they can only chuck 1.95670 cords in a hour.
HA HA HA ....isn't it great we don't have to answer any auto repair type questions today ? BTW, is that a face cord or a full cord ?
Only real cords here my friend!
2015jt Where I live there are beavers. But I have never seen a woodchuck in all my born days.
We don't have either here but I do have a chainsaw, wood splitter and truck!
The real question should be how much wood would a wood chuck have to chuck to buy a 2016 Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 SV?
Way up in the mountains we have Marmots which are related I think but I have never seen them chuck wood. We call them rock chucks because they live in piles of rocks.
