Cargurus 30 lead Integrity Team Policy
Good Morning.
I just wanted to see what other dealers/sellers had to make of a policy I was
just made aware of on Cargurus. The unwritten policy that the Integrity team
has in place basically removes any vehicles that is in your dealer dashboard
from being displayed on cargurus if that vehicle has received 30 leads. As a
paid subscriber to Cargurus, I was never informed of this unwritten rule, nor
did I receive any notifications that my vehicle would be removed because I
received 30 leads on a vehicle. Instead when my associate found the vehicle
to not be displayed on Cargurus, I then contacted Cargurus and was told of
this. I have since went ahead and cancelled my Cargurus account even
though I have had a healthy ROI while using Cargurus. I feel that as a paid
customer who has not conducted any shady business I should be given that
spot on the Cargurus platform to sell my vehicles. Take Craigslist for ex,
when you pay the ad fee your vehicle will be posted unless it is flagged.
Cargurus on the other hand charges you monthly and removes your vehicles
without notifying you, or telling you of this "rule" . So please let me know
what you think, if you didnt know about this unwritten rule, search your
vehicles on Cargurus. It is possible that if you have a car that you have
gotten several leads on (even if they were bad leads, fake leads,
unresponsive leads, etc.) that it may have been removed.
