I was wondering if this model is worth modifying

Asked by Guru9TMM8Q Apr 01, 2021 at 12:18 PM about the 2004 Honda Civic Coupe EX

Question type: Car Customization

I have a 2004 honda civic ex coupe with 93400 mil.  Clear
coat is coming off . Black interior  coming off and there's a
couple  of damages on the exterior.   I want to make this
car look as nice as possible but I'm not sure if it's worth  it
especially if in the future I want to sell it  with all the mods

Only paint and fix it up if you like driving it and you will drive and own it for years to come. Upgrading to make money and then selling it is a losing proposition on a mid 2000 Honda. Also mods doesn't add any value to the price of a car and or new owner, only you.

As it is now the car is probably worth $800 or so. You could spend 5 grand or more painting it and repairing the interior. Most mods decrease the value.
