Reduced engine power & van dieing

Asked by Angelynn Apr 12, 2018 at 12:18 PM about the 2008 Chevrolet Uplander LS FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2008 Chevy Uplander, it was has
been flashing "reduced engine power" &
going slow when driving. Now, it says
"starting disabled" & the van dies & shuts
off. The gas tank needle is going up & down
all the time. What could the problem be &
what can we do to fix it?

Have you taken it to get the codes read? If not then goto any auto parts store and they will do it for free, might not answer all your question but might give you a place to start.
