2016 Toyota Tacoma

Are the headlights automatic? If I leave the switch to 'on', will the headlights turn off when I shut off truck?

I did but it doesn't say. It just says what each position does. Ex.. DRL, parking lights, lights, high beams. So I wanted to know if they goes off by themselves when the engine is off or if I have to manually turn to the off position

Likely will turn off when you open your door (My 2014 does) and will come back on when next you turn on the ignition. Though some models will have a delay so the headlights stay on for a minuet or so after the engine is shut off and you get out-so you can see your way in the dark. But not both capability's on the same vehicle.
