Failing Brake Calipers

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Was just told that my Pilot with 94K miles has failing calipers on both fronts. He said the wear was very uneven on the pads. I'm taking it to the dealer today for a 2nd opinion. I've never heard of calipers failing this early. Anybody else? I'm thinking this should have been recalled if the guy is right.

Huh usually its a dealer that says this and it is taken to an independant for a second opinion :O) Very common for the sliders to rust and freeze up and wear pads unevenly - especially in areas around lots of water or salt during winter months where there is snow .. Good Luck at the dealer.
Already heard back from the dealer.. they say nothing unusual other than I need pads and machining on the rotors in front. They lubricate the pistons. This other place I went to was supposedly reputable.. man I'm smelling a skunk. Never have I gotten a better price from a dealer than a 3rd party operation.
