I have a 2003 Honda accord v6 with 124,000 miles. When I questioned my mechanic about the timing belt, he recommended a full kit repair for $900+. He also offered a $630 repair and 400+ for a timing belt only. What do you recommend?

While I don't agree with the pricing naturally because I can do my own work for just the parts cost, play it safe and go for the 900 but make him give you some kind of warranty on the work he does. Defective parts would be replaced by the supplier if something goes wrong, but he would charge you labor again if something happened and he has to go back in again.
