2003 honda accord v6

I'm thinking of buying a used 2003 honda accord v6 for
$1000 but it says it needs a transmition shift sensor
replaced i dont know what that is but I was just
wondering if its expensive to fix ($100+ for the part)

LX30215 gave you good advice- you should listen- the problem with this car could be a blown tranny- why fixate on this story about a "shift sensor"
