Why my car shakes when accelerating between 35 - 45 mph?

Asked by Diana_lee36 Jun 18, 2013 at 11:00 AM about the 2003 Honda Accord LX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2003 Honda Accord started to shake sometimes when I tried to accelerate between 35 - 45 mph.  I noticed it only happend in this speed range and only on one specific entrance of highway.  No shaking when speed is over 45 mph or on other road.  Can anyone help me with this?

It could be the tread pattern on your tires. It sounds to me like it is most likely the way that part of the highway was paved though. I wouldn't worry too much bout it.
