Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2003 Accord LX 4 door over 180,000 miles. Wife drove 20 +/- miles with the
parking brake slightly applied. I know why didn't she see the light. If the lever is
pulled up fully parking brake will hold vehicle. Pedal has extra travel, I'm
thinking it needs new pads and shoes. Your thoughts?

Yes, it would have to be checked for wear in the brake shoes at least. The emergency brake only works on the rear wheels.
