Exhaust Pipe Size Maximum Capacity?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I'm looking at exhaust tips and my current pipe
has a 2" diameter, maybe I'm just being dense,
but a tip with an inlet of 2.25" maximum
capacity should work, right it's a clamp on.
Back story: Previous owner cut off the exhaust
right after the muffler.

Here's the tip I'm looking at: http://m.autozone.com/autozone- mobile/en/accessories/MagnaFlow- Round-stainless-steel-exhaust-tip- Clamp-on/_/N-25c8? location=&id=975115
Previous owner was probably trying to get a certain 'sound' and cut them off being a cheapo, not willing to spend any money, just start hacking away on the car, the exhaust. Anyway, the link shows several. But if the muffler has a 2" outlet and tip has a 2.25" inlet clamp-on, you should be good. As long as the clamp-on has some room to.. well ... clamp on
I have been going back and forth trying to ID the one you mean. If it's this one, should be good, but you will need a hanger
