Why does the N light blink when accelerating

I have my car on D and it moves and works fine but when i accelerate the N light starts
blinking. I would like to have an idea of what is happening. It also blinks when i turn on the
car for a few seconds. I own a honda Civic EX 2003

May be the bulb is lose in the shifter,or wire to it making it flicker,if there is no problem with shifting,and runs, out good,it will be the bulb.
I am not good with cars so please do not judge my next question, what is "the bulb"?
Lol,,im not a judge anyway,,im here to help,the light bulb that ulmanate,s the PND321 in the console.
Do you happen to know if it is expensive to fix or if you need parts for it?
Should not be to expensive,paying someone to do it,should not cost over 75 buck,s,maybe a little cheaper.
