Dealer: offer renege

Asked by Dbond Dec 18, 2016 at 12:11 PM about the 2003 Honda Element EX AWD

Question type: Car Selling & Trading In

A dealer in Albion, IN has offered a car at $3995.  Inspection revealed a $75
steering alignment issue which the dealer offered to deduct from sales price (in
writing / email); but now refuses to honor, even after I called & discussed with
him directly.  What should I do?

I would tell the dealer to kiss my big old fat butt and walk away. If a dealer refuses to honor a simple low cost repair such as an alignment I sure wouldn't do business with him.
