AUTOCHECK report

Seller showed me an AUTOCHECK report.  It was clean but it was 14k miles
ago...reported at 2k miles........what does that mean?  The car has no service
done?  It has 16k miles on it.

Autocheck, like CarFax, reports accidents and insurance claims, it does not report on maintenance. If you want to know what service the vehicle has had, ask for maintenance records. Chances are with a vehicle this new with such low mileage it's maintenance was done at the dealership. Outside of a few oil changes there isn't much else it would have needed.

CARFAX does report maintenance at dealerships, from oil and tires and warranty service checks .

Ask the seller for maintenance receipts! I would want to see at least 2 oil changes.
