Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2016 Nissan Rogue just had transmission
failure at 77,000 miles.  Does anybody know if
Nissan will pay for, or help, with the repairs?

Ask your dealer and see. Your warranty may have been extended out to 7 years or 84,000 miles. Nissan would rather torpedo the company than install good transmissions.

Actually if not mistaken your car is one of the ones that is built on the Sentra engine which they use in your car. The year if I'm not mistaken has been settled in court for bad transmissions on the Sentra If you just do a Google search for " Nissan CVT Problems Class Actions" you'll find tons of court cases that have been put into class action status.
