WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE DEALER PRICE AND WHAT'S NOT?

Every dealer is different. Add fees, state tax, tags, registration, warranty, etc. Work out a deal.
Exactly. Beware of all the add on BS fees.
The BS is always added on at the last minute! Read all the paperwork carefully and pay close attention to the numbers!
The advertised price is for the vehicle only. Sales tax, title transfer, new registration, prep fees, and doc fees are not included. Prep and doc fees are where the fighting begins when I buy a vehicle! I will only pay $100 for each of these! As far as I'm concerned that's a gift and I let them know it!! Their lot person who preps the vehicle probably makes minimum wage and the office person preparing the paperwork probably makes a little more than minimum wage. Each job takes about an hour, I presume. So adding on a $300 dealer prep fee and $500 doc fees is outrageous! If they refuse to lower those fees, I walk away! The only trouble right now is it's a seller's market. So the Dealer knows if you don't buy the vehicle there's a line of people standing behind you who will, at just about any (ridiculous) price. Hope that helps! Jim
