No power

Honda civic 2002 ex 1.7l just changed the
alternator. Went to start it and there is no power!
No dash no crank nothing. Battery still has power.

Why was the alternator replaced? Check to make sure the positive wire is tight and the voltage regulator plug is completely plugged in and making a good connection.
