Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2002 Honda Civic 4 cylinder.  While driving
down highway if I turn on a.c. the car shuts down.
It's still idling but won't go no where. I shut car
down and it restarts after about 5 minutes.  Only
does it when I turn on ac..?????

Me too man. After I left it rest for 5-10 minutes it starts again but only drives to "half power" where even if you press the pedal down hard you get it to like 20-25 mph. I think it's an AC sensor or something... I'm still trying to find the issue. Any luck with yours? Also, after letting it rest for a longer while, an hour or even until the next day, it drives fine... Without using the AC though. Or turning on AC for like 20 seconds then off again and just blow the vent (no actual AC) it seems okay. Let me know if you find an answer!
