I would guess that you have a dead or weak battery but I am wondering if you seized the engine. When roll starting it what gear are you using?
The Clicking Sound is a low battery, needs a charge. Good Idea to push start a manual transmission vehicle, but you are using to low of a gear, so when you pop the clutch, the engine still has to much compression. Try using 3rd of 4th gear.
