Passport EX 4wd 2002 Auto

Asked by fidelity Feb 01, 2010 at 09:59 PM about the 2002 Honda Passport 4 Dr EX 4WD SUV

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My SUV works fine when the weather above 50F. When it gets close to freezing temp, the indicator light won't turn on upon start up (while the engine is on). After a good 3min warmup, I put it on Drive and it hesitates shifting 1 to 2, and it does that again shifting 4 to 5. Coming to a stop sign/light, it hesitates again going 2 to 1. I also learn that after restarting the car, the indicator light will turn on and the gears shift smoothly. I suspect it's an electrical/sensor problem somewhere that I can't pinpoint to. Can any1 help me?
