Coolant problems

I have a 2001 Accord 4 cylinder.  Runs great, but was running hot.  I changed
the relay for the fan motors and they now work.  Just replaced the thermostat.
There doesn't appear to be any leaks.  After running at highway speeds, the
overflow reservoir fills up, but as the engine cools it won't go back into the
radiator.  This is driving me nuts!
