Hey guys I I’m working on my Monte Carlo Ss I
have a 305 but I want to put in a 454 are all 454
truck engines ?

car and truck engines have different intake /exhaust porting , the crank may be different and the trans /rear axle have different ratios , if you beef up the motor the same should be done to the rest of the drive train
