Gas tank sending unit

Can anybody help me the auto parts stores
cannot find the correct gas tank assembly
sending unit I have a 85 Monte Carlo V8 and I
am told that the 85 Monte Carlo v8 come in
the super sport in my car is not a super sport
but I have a V8

Probably the same part. Lookup both parts in an online store and see if they show the same for both.

You need to know if you have three outlets or two on the sending unit and if you have a carburetor or fuel injection. Rockauto.com has them all listed. Also, when dealing with a 37 year old vehicle you need an older parts store counter person. The 18 year old kid behind the counter will have no idea of what you're looking for!! Hope that helps! Jim
