What kind of car is a 2001 Ford Taurus SES?

Basically it has the 200hp dual overhead cam engine instead of the 155hp single overhead cam engine. 3.0 L DOHC Duratec 3.0 V6 200 hp (149 kW), 200 lb·ft (271 N·m) 4-speed AX4N automatic

Its a 4 door family sedan, that is fairly reliable, and cheap to fix if it needs work, make sure you check the rear springs for broken/cracked springs.

Front are just as bad. I've replaced several front and rear springs on them but a very reliable good driving car. Be sure and keep the transmission serviced every 30,000 miles. This is their only major weak spot the transmissions going out. Keep it serviced, no problems.
