Is the Check Engine light on and what is the Battery Voltage?
Yes check engine light is on...to be honest I'm not sure on battery voltage. When I jump the car or charge up battery it starts right away with no problem. But it dies out immediately. My battery light is also on.
Some auto parts stores can scan the check engine light for free. I would have them do a battery load test to see if the battery is any good. If it is new it should have a warranty on it. Battery light usually indicates a bad battery. I would get a voltmeter and measure voltage with the engine off and while running. Should be 13.5+ Volts with the engine running. If the Voltage isn't at proper level the computer can't work and causing your vehicle to stall.
Ok...thank you. Now to see how to get it where I need to so I can have it checked. Just don't really have the money to have it towed and mechanic fees. Thank you for your advice and time.
