Anyone know why a reverse light won't work on a 2004 ford explorer sports trac xlt I've replaced shift cable and now my gear shift is messed up and don't like to shift gears anyone know how to fix it

I'm having an issue with the reversing lights too. I took it to the shop & they replaced a fuse which got them working, but they stopped working again. Auto door locks are not working either. I wish I knew the fuse number.
