What should I buy, a 2015 Chevrolet Trax or a 2017 Hyundai Tucson?

Hi,

I am buying a used vehicle and looking at a 2015
Chevrolet Trax and a 2017 Hyundai Tucson. The
Trax is 75,000 kms while the Tucson is 116,000
kms. The Trax is 12,000 all in while the Tucson is
17,000 all in. Both have not been in accidents. The
Tucson is more on insurance per month by $70. I
am leaning towards the Trax because it's in my
budget, but am concerned with the age of it and
the reviews I've read about it having alot of
maintenance issues. What would be the wiser
choice between the two of these vehicles? What
one am I going to save money on ?

Have a mechanic inspect the car before you buy.

Lower miles, I’d pick the Trax. The Tucson is ready for a lot of maintenance items, if the previous owner didn’t do them at 100,000.

Anything GM is going to give you problems. If those are my only two choices, I pick the Hyundai. Hope that helps! Jim
