Welcome to the world of GM! This trouble code is telling us that the engine computer is not getting a signal from the crankshaft position sensor. Most likely due to a wiring problem (typical GM), a bad sensor, or the reluctor ring is damaged or dirty. Since you have an intermittent problem I'd suspect it's a wiring problem. GMs have been plagued with electrical gremlins for decades now and usually can't be fixed. Hopefully yours can! Hope that helps! Jim
