03 suburban won't start after speaker installation

03 Chevy suburban 5.3 had
speaker installed. The wires
weren't big enough which caused
them to ground out. Had battery
and alternator tested. Battery
good alternator wasn't. Replaced
alternator still no luck. Speakers
have been disconnected

check all fuses no telling what burned out , Also find a competent mechanic/stereo installer or abandon all hope ,
