2003 Chevy Suburban makes a hissing sound

2003 Chevy Suburban makes a hissing sound for about a 2-4 secs when the
engine is turned off. The heating and cooling works fine. But recently the the
temperature and direction feature on the mirror goes wacky after driving the
car for about 15 mins. Not sure if the two issues are related. Overall the car
works excellant

Some times the hissing sound is from the A/C system pressure equalizing at engine shut down. Try turning off the A/C and the compressor and shut it off and I would think there will be no hissing sound.

And the issue with the rear view mirror's compass is just a bad compass. Get a new rearview.
