Need to fix my car

Ok ive got a 2002 suburban and when i start and
put it in gear it starts idleing rough and i dont know
what it could be

"Idling rough" is usually a sign that the engine is misfiring... One piston is dragging and the other ones are having a hard time pulling the slacker's weight, literally. This would be a common issue in a 2002 model vehicle. Lucky for you it's probably and easy and inexpensive fix... try a new set of spark plugs first, and then maybe a bad coil if the spark plugs dont fix the problem...( the plugs fire on the coils) all fairly inexpensive fixes. Any reasonable shop should be able to do this for you for under $100 dollars.. and I bet it fixes the problem. Good luck.
