Question type: Maintenance & Repair

4L60E Engine
I have only owned the car for a little over a year now and everything was
great at first until the engine light came on and i started replacing the parts
that the codes were showing and it seems like after i fixed one thing another
thing was wrong. Right after i replaced the Upstream Oxygen 02 sensor
Bank 2 sensor 1 i believe, Engine Temp Sensor and the Cam Sensor, I also
have a thermostat thats going to be put in as well. But a few days after my
truck starts im guessing Slipping... Never Done this before but it will shift into
first just great and into 2 good. but going from 2 into 3 sometimes it will ref up
to the 3 mark unless i let off the gas an ease its way into 3rd. Its doesnt
always do this. ""Knock on Wood"" not yet anyways,, I have taken my truck
to several different Transmission Shops and have spoke to so many different
mechanics and they all basically say that i either have to replace my whole
transmission or i could possibly just need to replace my fluid and my filter.
My fluid is a little dark but not too much and its doesnt have a burning metal
smell to it at all. i havent been able to check to see if there are any metal
shavings in the fluid yet or not. I did ofcourse add some Lucas to it and no
that didnt help. But sometimes it will shift just fine then other times i will have
to ease it into place. I have put way too much money into this vehicle for this
short amount of time that ive had it to just let it die on me and have it go to
the Junk yard,,, Can anyone possibly help me with any kind of advice or
anything at all it would GREATLY BE APPRECIATED TREMENDOUSLY !!!!!!
and i dont want to spend another grand on a transmission if i dont have to
and its just something else that needs to be fixed
ALSO IM NOT SURE EXACTLY WHICH TRIM IT IS IN THE SELECTION
BELOW WHEN FILLING OUT THIS FORM BC MY TRUCK HAS LZT ON
THE SIDE AND THATS IT THERES NO LS OR LT AND IT IS 4WD SO I
PUT NORTH FACE EDITION BUT IM NOT EXACTLY SURE WHAT THAT

Not exactly buttttt at the same time it started doing this slipping it also started shaking Bc the motor mounts need to be replaced. Which I can’t do unless I have an engine lift . I was told that after I replace the motor mounts that the gear slipping should stop and that it’s doing it Bc the motor mounts need to be replaced. If it was my transmission going bad it would be went out on me along time ago . It hasn’t gotten any worse it’s doing the exact same thing as it has been since it all started. Does ur vehicle have a shake to it, if so it could possibly be the same exact issue im having .... now once I do finally get the motor mounts replaced and it doesn’t stop then I will def let you know and then I’ll be super worried Bc then idk what to do or what could be causing it but I will def keep you informed
