2003 chevy tahoe z71

Truck wont start. Hear clicking from dash, all lights
on dash. When i go to start engine symbol is still
lit. The other day it did the same but no lights were
lit after turning. Help

The check engine light and such will use only turn out when cranking bc it is receiving and rpm signal from the crank sensor.... this is a good diagnostic aid... if the engine if just clicking and not moving the light is going to stay lit
